- Medical and dental: Coverage for your dependents continues until the end of the month in which you died.
- Pension: Your beneficiary may be entitled to your account balance, either in a lump-sum payment or paid as a pension.
- Life insurance: Your life insurance will be paid to your beneficiary/beneficiaries on file.
If someone close to you has died, reach out for help in coping with or talking through your grief. Mental health and wellbeing programmes can assist you. Optum is available to help you with counseling or support you during this difficult time.
