What’s new for FY25

For FY25, we introduced changes that focus on enhancing your experience with your Intuit benefits. The following changes took effect August 1, 2024, unless otherwise noted.

No increase in medical, dental, or vision premiums

As part of our unwavering commitment to extraordinary benefits at Intuit, we’re keeping your medical, dental, and vision premiums the same. This means that if you’re currently enrolled in a medical, dental, or vision plan and you continue your enrollment, you will not see any changes to your paycheck deductions.

Medical plan enhancements and changes

New telehealth provider

Telehealth services currently provided by Teladoc will be replaced with telehealth services through the Cigna and UHC medical plans. This creates a more integrated virtual health care experience and offers access to more telehealth providers. Cigna and UHC telehealth services are covered at 100% and available 24/7 for a variety of health care needs, including:

  • Urgent care for non-emergency issues such as sore throats, the flu, and allergies.
  • Dermatology for common conditions such as acne, eczema, and suspicious skin spots.
  • Behavioral care to talk to a licensed therapist on topics such as anxiety, stress, grief, and life changes.
  • Primary care, including an extended network of virtual primary care physicians (primary care copays apply).

Note that this change does not affect second opinion services, which will remain available through Expert Medical Opinion—a Teladoc company in FY25.

Massage therapy is now covered under the Cigna and UHC medical plans

To help you feel your best at and outside of work, the Cigna and UHC medical plans will cover up to 30 visits of medically necessary massage therapy. These treatments must be prescribed by your doctor and target specific soft-tissue problems that are negatively affecting your health. Please note the Kaiser medical plan does not cover massage therapy.

Deductible increases for Cigna Choice Fund with HSA

In alignment with IRS rules, the annual deductible for the Cigna Choice Fund with HSA medical plan is changing from $1,500 (individual) and $3,000 (family) to $1,600 (individual) and $3,200 (family).

Dental and vision enhancements to make you smile

In addition to zero cost increases for FY25, we’re going one step further with enhancements to your dental and vision plan coverage.

  • Dental: Medically necessary periodontal maintenance (which may include deeper and more frequent cleanings) will be considered preventive care. This means that these services will be covered at 100% (up to the annual plan maximum), with no deductible.
  • Vision: The allowance for frames will increase from $200 to $250. In addition, you can use your frame allowance toward your choice of sunglasses or blue-light-filtering glasses. This benefit is in lieu of prescription glasses.

Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)

The annual maximum you can contribute to a health care or limited purpose FSA is increasing from $3,050 to $3,200. The annual maximum you can contribute to a dependent care FSA will remain $5,000 in FY25. If you’re currently enrolled in an FSA and want to continue to participate, you must enroll during FY25 annual enrollment. These accounts do not roll over from year to year.

Health savings account (HSA)

The annual maximum you can contribute to your HSA is increasing from $3,850 (individual) and $7,750 (family) to $4,150 (individual) and $8,300 (family). If you’re age 55 or older, you can make an additional $1,000 catch-up contribution. If you would like to continue your contributions in FY25, you must reenroll during annual enrollment; otherwise, your deductions will stop.

New way to enroll in your benefits

In April 2024, we introduced our new My Benefits enrollment site—which includes interactive tools to help you choose benefits that work best for you and your family. My Benefits is also the place to go throughout the year to view your benefits dashboard, a to-do list of benefits action items, as well as educational resources. View this short video highlighting the features you’ll find on the My Benefits site.

Your benefits information is moving to Insight

Insight has been enhanced to include all your benefits information. This enhancement will create a more personalized and tailored experience for your Intuit benefits information—and seamlessly connect you to our benefit programs through single sign on. Now, your benefits information will be curated directly for you. This means that once you sign on and navigate to the My benefits and career tab, you’ll see all your benefits based on what’s available to you. You can even personalize your experience by choosing topics you want to learn more about, making it easier to take action. You, your spouse/domestic partner, and eligible dependents can still use intuitbenefits.com to view high-level benefit overview information.

My Hub has expanded to include benefit recommendations

Insight’s My Hub had expanded to include new benefits recommendations focused on motivating you to interact with your mental health and wellbeing benefits. These recommendations increase awareness of benefits and make it easy to take action. You can personalize your experience by choosing topics you want to learn about.
